Waiting For My First Custom Rifle

I am finally going to bite the bullet and build my first custom rifle.

I am going ot build it around a Bat MB action.

The only problem is there is a 4 month wait for the action...

I want the round model with a Right Bolt and Left Port.


It is my experience that you wait because it is worth it!

Looks like I am going to have to keep day dreaming for the next several months...

BZR, 4 months for a BAT action, it will be more like 6 months. They are worth the wait, I have owned two.

Try Bruno's or Russ Haydon. They may have something for you. Lot's of custom actions on hand.

I ordered a BAT 3LL octagon action the first week of June last year, Last week I got the word it was going to ship. My wait was about 7 months, check out Bruno shooter supply, he normally has a few in stock.

i think was lucky i order a bat 3l octagon & got it 3 month after . talk to bruce

Last two rifles I had built took two years each. Shot a used rifle in the mean time while waiting for the first. Have another on order but wait is only going to be about 4 months on it,BAT action).

I waited a good 6mo for my rifle to complete, in my case the stock was the long tent in the pole. I oderes it in Dec 07 when I got home from my Pdog hunt in June there was a message my gun was ready ! It was worth the wait!
