VX5HD vs LHT vs V4

Any opinions on comparing the three scopes below?

Leupold VX5HD 3-15x44
Vortex Razor HD LHT 3-15x42
Zeiss V4 4-16x44

It will be going on a 250ai for deer, coyote, etc. Just curious how they compare, what you all would choose and why. Any info is much appreciated.

Are you set on these three. I composed these and the Leica Amplus 6 3-18x44i and ended up with the lecia. Eurooptic.com had it on sale for close to what he others list for and it's illuminated and great glass.

Of the 3 you listed i like the leupold best.

I’m for sure open to suggestions! I’ve never considered a leica. What did you prefer about it?

LHT is pretty hard to beat for a hunting scope from a feature and reticle options perspective. The other two you mention are close but when you put the features (illumination, locking turret, zero stop, weight, glass that will get you past legal, etc) with a dot reticle (which I have come to prefer) with true usable wind holds…pretty tough to beat.

The other two are very comparable but doesn’t have everything like the LHT does. Good luck.

This is my second season on the Leupold. It gets my old eyes past the legal time with ease. I got the firedot but really don't use it. My only minor complaint is the windage adjustment has no clicks that I can decern. Very minor in that I've not changed windage since zero.

I ended up going with the LHT. Found a used one on another forum for what I thought was a good price. We will see how I like it in the coming months.

Good choice. I have five and all five track perfectly. That was the main reason I got rid of my Leopold vx6s
