VV135 color?

Picked up a pound of VV135 the the day and first thing I noticed, besides the new label, was that the powder itself is no longer jet black. It's been years since I've needed to buy any and it's the only VV powder I use but wondering when this change was made.

N-130, 133, and 135 are the same powder but each has a different coating that also causes a variation in color.

Received a response from VV;

Thank you for contacting us at Capstone PG. What you are seeing is an ongoing product upgrade that had been integrated into our powder line back around the 2015 timeframe. This is the addition of a de-coppering agent that had been added to the powder to reduce the amount of copper fouling that would occur in the bore of your rifles barrel. It does not change any of the burn rate characteristics that you are accustomed to with the use of our powders. We hope that this addresses your concerns with the visual differences.

2015, I recon it has been a while since I bought powder for this rifle.
