vv n150 worthless powder?

Found some n150 in Stock. Not familiar with it, gambled on some and I am not finding much of a use for it in my manuals. I it as worthless as I think. I load for 222, 223, 6.5x47, 308, and 300 mag

I use it in .260 and it shoots really nice. For .223 it is going to be to slow. 6.5x47 should work, .308 guys do shoot it in Palma believe Kent Reeves uses it. 300 Win Mag going to be a little fast. Its burn rate is a tad quicker than 4350, where as N160 is slower than 4350 but faster than 4831SC. Hope this helps.

6.5x47 & 308 (with bullets up to 175 grain) are great with N150, manuals be da*ned. These days you might find something you're unfamiliar with but that's no reason to consider it worthless without asking around first....

Use it in your 6.5x47... Easier on the pipe than N-550 just not as much energy.

Gotta wonder about that heading! But then I've come to get used to some of the "wild" things posted on this blog. Over the years, I've used various VV powders including N150 and have found great success in some of those calibers. But calling or suggesting N150 is "worthless" is a new one and sorta like asking if toilet paper is needed in a bathroom. Just watch how quickly N150 disappears off shelves in a reloading shop and you'll find lots of people would also dispute whether it's "worthless." But if you don't like N150, put it up for sale and be assured it'll go bye bye fast. Happy shootin.

I use it in my 260AI and 6.5X47L, it shoots awesome and it's my go to powder for these two calibers, if I can find it!
