Vudoo V22ss scope rings setup?

I would like to know what rings and base setup you folks are using. I will be shooting BR with it and want to go with the highest setup as possible. I am using a Vortex with the ECR reticle which has a 30mm tube. Thanks

BKL has some pretty tall options. Not that heavy either.

They are all I used when I shot silhouette.

Don't know about a mount but I use 1 1/2" Burris XTR rings. They have inserts that allow you to adjust the cant up tp 40 MOA.

There are any number of dovetail rings that will fit your needs but you need to make sure the width of the ring will fit into the groves cut by Vudoo if you want a direct mount. Mike told me that most people have use Kilby's rings.

I have ordered a set of the Harrell's 30mm high offset rings and their dovetail bases to mount on the action plus a set of extra high Burris signature Zee rings for the picatinny rail I purchased from Vudoo.

I am hoping one of the two will get me a comfortable sight picture.

So the Harrells dovetail bases will work on the V22ss? I was looking at those on PMA website.

I set the integral dovetails up for Kelbly's rings and never tried the Harrel's rings....the Harrel's might be too think to pop into the relief before sliding forward against the stop face. I don't immediately recall the width of the Kelbly's rings, but can look at my SolidWorks models tomorrow if you have any Harrel's to compare them to.

Mike,

Harrell's site lists the single screw ring as being 0.500" thick and the double screw as being 0.75" thick.

Do you manufacture dovetail mounts that attach to your action?

Mike I do not.. I will keep it simple and order the Kelbys..thanks

I like tall rings on my rifles as well. Keep in mind that Kelbly's is only offering their standard height rings now. I've bought the Harrell's recently.. I like the finish better on the Harrell's & they"re a little cheaper.
Below are the thickness' I have.
Harrell's SS .504
Harrell's DS .751
Kelbly single screw .505
Kelbly double screw .887

Thanks for the dims Keith. From your numbers, the Harrell's single screw will slide right into the integral mounts.
