I've recently purchased a Viper PST Gen II 5-25-50 to put on top of a T/C Compass 6.5 CM. I've got an EGW 20 MOA base coming in the mail, but don't know which height rings I'll need to go with. I'd like to measure the saddle height and go from there, but also would like to order rings before the base comes in a couple of days. There's a sunshade that came with the scope that I'd still like to be able to use if possible, so thinking a higher ring might be in order. Has anyone mounted one of these scopes on a T/C Compass chambered in 6.5 CM that could shed some light on ring height?
