Vortex Viper PST 5-25x50

Just thought I would let you all know that these scopes have been reduced to around 650 dollars on Euro optics. Probably a mark down of more than 300 bucks or more.
Vortex makes an excellent scope. I still love my Nightforce optics, but I just bought three of these for what I would pay for a Nightforce.
Check them out. Midway I believe wants around 1000 bucks

Been on the EuroOptics closeout page for well over a year now for those prices. The older reticles but still good as mentioned. Other models too.

Personally, for the shooting I do, and have for the past 60 years, I dont need all that stuff in an optic. Sometimes I think it is too much to think about when I am shooting. I won't be shooting 600 yards at a deer, or anything else. That takes a lot of practice, and training, and although I love shooting, I don't have the time for all that.
My son wants me to start shooting 300 and 400 yards using a 22 with him. I say he's crazy LOL.
I most certainly might experiment with the different hash marks in a scope shooting a 22 at 100 yards, but thats probably it.
I think you need a science degree of some sort to understand all those lines and all in todays scopes. Give me an old Leopold Vari X II 6-18 with the fine duplex and I will be happy!!!
Have a great day!!!

Actually you don’t and it’s pretty easy to use as the lines are the same as what you would dial on. So instead of dialing on 4 moa you just hold the 4 moa line and shoot. It’s pretty simple although it might look daunting.

Shooting a .22 at 300 yards is good training for wind and holds. The .22 can easily do it. Some think it’s a 50-100 yards cartridge but it does more. I have shot mine past 500 yards. Try it.

Just got the scopes. I ordered them on Sunday evening, and got them early today. Now that's service!
They really look awsome. Never messed with the vortex line, but maybe I should have.
I think this one will be going on my air rifle.
