I ran across these the other day while looking at the Bulletin. It was cheap enough for me and a buddy to drive the 90 miles over to Walla Walla Washington and get a couple. Great time of the year for a trip over there, it's harvest time for the wheat and a good excuse to get out of town for the day.
This is the very first model of the viper, It looks and works just as good as you would think from a viper, (it's only 21ozs) and I had no problem ranging the combines for what may have been a half mile away. The price is cheap enough that I couldn't pass it up. The mag ring is a little bit different but after reading up on it I think it's a pretty good idea and would work great for predator hunting.
Sportsman's warehouse has them at $249.99 with a $25 gift coupon. They are SKU: #VPR-M-05BDC (MOA) or #VPR-M-05MD, (MRAD). Have fun.
