Yes it's very clear. Another fellow shooter, has the Kowa Prominar. Even he was impressed with the Vortex.

Great, I just ordered the 20-60-85 I got to take it out into the parking lot at Cabela's the 27x is the brand new model from what I read there about the same, as you said it was very clear, and on sale, $999 then 5% discount for a Veteran I tried to get more for Senior Citizen, NRA Instructor and AAA he wasn't going for it LOL, Thanks Ringostar.

I purchased that scope when it first came out, great scope! Very clear and crisp. I would suggest buying a phonescope for it. You will love it! Down side is that they won't be making any Moa or mil reticle for it Jim over at vortex said there wasn't a big sell of them for the older model. Are you sure you got the newest model though? That price is $1000 cheaper then the msrp. I used the 40% discount from vortex for being military. and still didn't get it that cheap. I know cabelas back in December was doing a sell on the old model which made them that price. Hope you got that great of a deal on your though!

Since my last post I got mine and took it to the range, everyone one said you can't see a .243 bullet at 300 yards, well it was a nice clear chilly day, and I could see it on a NBRSA 300 yard target, not only could I see that I also could see my .223 holes I shot on regular computer paper

So are they coming out with one now? I spoke with vortex rep about 2 months back and they said they didn't have a demand for it. That would be nice! Keep me posted please.
