Vortex Optics service

Let me start this by saying one of the Vortex scopes I bought a long time ago, needed repair. I sent it in and they did a fine job of it and returned my scope in a very timely manner. .I have a question about what they can or will do, though now. I don't need a repair, just a change, if possible. I got a great deal on a Golden Eagle 15-60. But, I want a different reticle. Can or will they do that?

Just a thought, sell yours and buy the reticle model you want. Probably much cheaper than if they did offer the reticle change service option.

I was in a similar situation I wanted to go from the scr to ecr Iwas told at that time that they could not help me out. I thought it may have been an issue getting enough reticles for production was during Covid. Good news I shot the rifle with the scr and it’s fine for me

I wanted the SCR-1 but it came with fine crosshairs. Which are fine for short/medium F-class. But the adjustment won’t take me as high as I need to go for 1K and 1200

No I ask the same question and they expain why they couldn't so I put a 30 moa scope mount on my rifle the issue was sovled.

‘cept in my case a 20 moa base that fits my BAT SV action runs $160-$230. Haven’t gotten that down to specifics yet.

On another note, what I thought was an SCR-1 is actually what I got. I had somehow thought the SCR-1 was a’stadia’ marked lower post (no upper post), and full width stadia marked horizontal crosshair. That is actually an ECR-1.

I have the Burris Rings that have the inserts on both of my Comp rifles and they are the "Ticket" . Worth every penny , and had zero issues for four years now .
