Selling a factory-built gently used (<100 rounds) Volquartsen Summit. The barreled action with trigger was factory built by VQ, and I added the KRG Bravo Rimfire chassis with toolless LOP and railed front spigot.
The receiver is the stainless steel straight pull action with integral rail, polished sides and matte rail/edges. The bull barrel is stainless steel with I-flutes, threaded 1/2x28 and comes with a knurled thread protector. The trigger group is the Volquartsen TGS in silver with rapid release mag levers.
Barrel measures 18.25” from the bolt face to the crown (the thread protector protrudes a bit further than the crown). Bull barrel diameter is 0.924” straight.
I had been curious about the Summit for a long time and wanted to at least try one compared to my Vudoo and Kidd rifles, so I ordered one on a whim a few weeks ago. I installed the action in a KRG Bravo chassis and shot 80-100 rounds total, CCI standard and SK+. In short, rifle shoots great, typically 1” or better at 100 yards with the SK+ ammo. I find that I still prefer the more traditional bolt in the Vudoo (old dog doesn’t like new tricks), so electing to sell this while it’s still nearly new.
Comes in a full-size Volquartsen rifle box with one 10-rounds mag and paperwork, and also includes all of the KRG parts and paperwork.
