VMT tourulan tehdas model 45 bolt removal

Hi all... A friend brought over a 22 cal. target rifle. It has a thumb screw on the left hand side by the rear of the bolt. I removed this thumb screw figuring the bolt would slide out. It did not come out. How do you remove the bolt on one of these rifles. I googled it and i could not find any info on bolt removal. Thanks. DJB

No experience with this model but did you try pulling the trigger and holding it when removing the bolt?

wish it was that easy. Tried that right away, and that did not work. Thanks anyways. Hope someone can help me here. DJB

Found some info on the rifle. It is a Finnish Lion target rifle. Just placed a snap cap in the chamber, closed the bolt, and pulled the trigger. No sear engagement. Some one must a played with the trigger, so now the trigger wont work. Another can of worms. DJB
