Vit N140

Hi guys,been reading this site for a while,but this is my first post all the way from Bonnie Scotland.

I have a 6br 12 twist so using 75gr Vmax and 80gr Bergers getting good results using Varget. Recently aquired some Vit N140 for use in .308 and .22/250, Cant find any data for this powder in 6br unless anybody knows different????

My VihtaVuori reloading manual does not list the 75gr Vmax. It has 77gr HP Lapua. Here is the load

VV N140 - 77gr HP Lapua,25.5' barrel - 1:8 twist)
Start 29.9 - 2894
Max 33.2 3166

I don't know how much this helps but N140 is VERY close to RL15. Do not substitue loads but RL15 will get you in the ballpark for a load.
NFA lists N140 two powders slower than RL15.
Hodgdon lists N140 one powder faster than RL15

Viht has reloading data online. With a little searching you should be able to find it. I can't do links very well.

Two rules I use with Viht. Increase tension and jam. YMMV
