Vihvavuori Small Rifle Magnum Primers ?

Because of the current shortage of primers, Is anyone familiar with Vihvavuori Small Rifle Magnum Primers, I have a 6BRX and I shoot the CCI 450 SR Mag Primers but I can't find any CCI primers, but I found These Vihvavuori Small Rifle Magnum Primers. I understand Vihvavuori stopped making these primers, but I can't find anything on them. can anyone guide me in the right direction. Or give me some advice.

I didn't know VV made primers.

Best advice I can give is to simply try them. Especially if you can get a big lot. If they work, you'll be set! If not, you should be able to sell them without a problem.

Must'a been some dust on the tops of those boxes! VV discontinued primer operations many years back. What you've got there is obviously an old stash. Assuming they were stored properly, they should still be perfectly fine.

I found around 1,000 too in a local gunshop when it moved premises some years back - they're likely around 20-25 years old. When Viht first appeared in the UK sometime in the early to mid 80s, its reloading data leaflet always quoted Viht primers, but I never heard of anybody using them here.

Sometime around the appearance of the 1st edition of Viht's hard-bound reloading manual, the designation changed to just LR, SR or whatever primer. The small stache I picked up is the first examples I've seen - I've never got around to trying them in anything yet!

I tried them out today, and I think they are going to work out ok, I had to adjust my powder charge and bullet seating, I managed to shoot 1/2 inch group, I even managed to put 2 in the same hole, but I will finish tomorrow morning if the rain holds out. If I can make it work, I will have 2000 primers, and that will cover the life of this barrel.
