Vihtavuori N570 : Where Did It Go?

I am using VV N570 in a 375 cheytac with excellent results, but can't seem to find it anywhere. Does anyone know or have information as to whether this powder is still being manufactured? I called multiple reloading suppliers across the US and they all say the same thing verbally and on their website: "Temporarily unavailable from the manufacturer."

thank you
Dan

Still in production, but (as of a couple months ago, anyway) temporarily unavailable. Without getting into too many details, it has to do with a DOT and packaging issue. Once resolved, you’ll see it readily available once again. Temporary glitch, on our side of the pond, nothing more.

Powder Valley had some in stock a couple days ago, but it didn't last long and they're sold out of it now. Grafs had some of the new N565 but it too was snatched up in a hurry. I got lucky and was able to get 5lbs before it was all gone though.

I don't think I've ever seen N570 in the stores and the last time I was able to land some was from one of the online places like Powder Valley.

Can't count how many times I checked my go-to dealers, looking for N-570, with no success. Finally got 10# from PV last week. Shipped, it was $40 a pound, pretty steep, but I'm sure liking it in several rifles.
Bruno's also had some.

As an alternate, Try V/V 24N41 (available in 8 lb. jugs) - The burn rate is slightly slower than N-570 and 24N41 is a single base powder manufactured by Vihta-Vuori and the cost is very reasonable. - I've tested this powder in the 338 Lapua Mag. Imp. and the results were very good.

Dan,
Last shipment that just came in was just enough to cover the back orders unfortunately. I suggest that you check online suppliers for powder left over from cancelled back orders by customers AND check gun shops that carry our powders. That is where I have been hearing people finding the N-570.
