RL-33 is my "Go-To" for the 338 Lapua Imp. & Berger 300 gr. OTM's. - A bunch of folks shooting the 300 Norma Mag. & Improved variants swear by N570 and I've heard complaints about "Not being able to get it". - I have 40 Lbs. of RL-33 and now I'll add the 8 Lbs. of this to the 16+ that I currently have of N570. - Another good slow burner that V/V offers is 24N41 that doesn't get much mention in big cartridges.

There is little doubt of the characteristics and value of VV N570 as a slow burning powder! I was just taken back at the total cost for an 8 pound jug!

Part of the "What the Market Will bare" I'm afraid - The previous 8 Pounder I got was about 8-10 months ago at Natchez Shooters Supply & was also $299.00 + shipping, & Haz-mat (can't remember if they nicked me for state tax). - N570 has always been higher than about any other powder that I've seen marketed.

Check Powder Valley - they show a significantly lower price and there's no indication they are out of stock. PV has historically not played the "market will bear" game.

I just noticed that. - PV is at $37.55 per pound (37.55 x 8 = $300.40) plus shipping & haz-mat. (They have no 8 pounders in stock)
