Where can I find some?Vihtavuori powder has always been the most expensive of all the powders. Last time I bought N570, which was a few months ago, it was about $35-$36 per pound. Not cheap, but I love it in my 300 Norma Mag Improved with 215gr Bergers at 3140 fps (26", 1 in 9 twist barrel).
Where can I find some?
Good news they have a new powder N555! Makes sense to me... Have never been able to keep up with their existing line.VV N570 is a great powder. I haven't been able to find any for over a year. When I posted a similar question about availability a year ago, there was some issue with importing that powder. At that time some person from VV stated it will be coming soon. Again, N570 is "coming soon". Whatever. Believe it when I see it. VV has let us down regarding this powder for some time.

$50 a pound here in Tennessee I switched to more readily available powders and 570 works great and my 338 Lapua I just gave up on finding itVihtavuori powder has always been the most expensive of all the powders. Valid reports are N565 is equivalent to Reloder26. N570 is very close to Reloder33.I was actually reading some stuff about the N560, 565, etc and how close it is to 570, so I am thinking we need to do some testing with the 555 thru 570 line and find out. Gives one a good xcuse for wasting large amounts of powder.
Just out of curiosity, those that have been able to find N570 at all, what is it going for now?
$34.12 a pound.3 months ago I managed a 8 Lb. jug at Natchez Shooters Supply. - Was approx. $273 after shipping & Haz-Mat & I received my $20.00 rebate check last week. - Not the best price but I'm not complaining.
