Video on you tube

There was a guy on YouTube who built a 6.5x47 from start to finish quite a few years ago. Said he was retired. Well it was a series of videos, and he had a scratchy/raspy voice but the videos were good I thought. They are not on YouTube anymore. Anyone know who I’m thinking of, his name?

Well, So much for bagging on guys using a 3 jaw.

It's still on youtube, Click the watch on youtube link.

The dude I’m talking about has a bunch of videos on one build and doesn’t use a three jaw.
The guy on the video I posted is called "S&S Precision" out of Argyle Texas. Looks like a lot of benchrest guys were using him at one time, And he does use a 3 jaw in the video.

The other guy you guy's were talking about I can't remember his name, But it wasn't Suarez, That Suarez dude is a real gem, He is an Ak guy.

The guy that did the bolt gun videos had a raspy voice and the hint of a hispanic accent, The guy really was pretty good, I enjoyed watching his stuff. Although I haven't watched anything from him in quite awhile.

There are 2 Suarezs’. One is modern tacticool, or at least seemed that way. I didn’t have to watch the videos to know that wasn’t the one I’m talking about. Same for the s&s also.
I wanted to save the videos but he has disappeared. They were what pushed me into doing rifles myself. Videos were from 2010-2011ish.

Yep. He had a two-part video on chambering between centers that was excellent, chambered my first stick that way after watching them.

I take it youve never seen a set tru chuck? Its next level stuff up from a 4 jaw so dont bag on 3jaws if you spot one in a good gunsmiths shop. They know exactly what theyre doing although stick is no longer with us
yes I have seen them.

I wasn't bagging on anybody either, But I have seen others do it. That's what I was saying.

His name was also Suarez. I found a little info and where videos were no longer available on Snipers hide. The particular videos was his last build before retiring. Anyway, thanks for the help.

I think his name was Suarez. After a different approach to find the videos.
Suarez Tactical Rifles. All videos are gone. I thought they were good. Just random nightshift thoughts.
You are right, he went by STR on snipers hide. They used to have his videos marked as “sticky’s” on the top of the gunsmithing section. I have no idea if they still do.

I enjoyed watching his videos, I believe he once mentioned he was from Florida…? But it looks like he hung up his hat somewhere in 2011.
