Buy your wife a good chef's knife.
We've had a kitchen victorinox knife set for years. Easy to sharpen, hold the edge decently. Good knives.Per order or per knife? I have no experience with them outside of Swiss Army knives but the Hunter pro looks nice. Buy your wife a good chef's knife.
Ditto here. Guy ran a processing place here in the county, beef, deer, etc. Mostly women butchers (Mennonites). He said he tried everything else and the Victorinox were the easiest to maintain and sharpen and were flexible enough to slide down a bone. The Cutco guy begged him to use their knives, but he declined. I'm a knife freak of the highest order and Victorinox aren't high on the food chain as far as high end, but they simply work. I have several in my kitchen along with "a few" J-knives.Had a good friend that was a butcher by profession, those were the only brand he would use.
