Hi all i have just competed in 5 days of F Class shooting here in Australia. We have a 2 day lead up shoot then the Queens Prize and also a Grand Agg of the two. The lead up was called the Syme and the two days were very close with our targets we shoot a 44mm 10 ring,1.7") at 300 yards a 73mm 10 ring,2.8")at 500 yards a 116mm 10 ring at,4.5")600 and 900 yards and then the easy range 10" at 1000. The scors after the first day were verry close with 3 of us having 1 point between 1st to third. On the seccond day i had a shocker at 900 with verry bad wind i ended up shooting an 81 but first was only 84 unfortunately another shooter got some favorable conditions and won the day by climbing up 12 points on us from over night to win the Syme well done Alan Fraser for a 561 i ended up with 555 for third. The queens started on the third day and four of us shot a 99 i counted out the others for first with my 6mm Dasher 107 Sierra's, Other 99,s in order were 284Win 180gr Berger, 6.5-284 139gr Lapua and 6mmBR. The seccond range was just as hard i shot a 97 but that only got me 3rd being out gunned buy a 99 from the 284 and Matt Paroz shooting another 100. then to 600 i strung a 96 togethor for a 4th place with 2 97's and another 96 in front of me. The seccond day was just as hard i shot two 99's straight at 500 then 600 but Matt shot another 100 then i had troubles with my sighters and only shot a 78 at 900 yards with my 284 and 175gr Sierra's. at the end of 4 days shooting and 2 in the main event i thought i was well out of the places but Matt Paroz waz in a convincing first with 577/600 Richard Braund in seccond with 571/600 and i was in third 568/600. The last day 900 yards again and then 1000 Matt shot an awsome 94 but i held on with an 89 with Richard also shooting 89 it all came to the last range could i stay in 3rd or possibly get 2nd and could i also get 1st in the grand agg or even a place. Matt as usual shot a 99 and was upset for dropping a point Richard shot and shot a 93 i did not know it when i went to shoot as i did not look at the board by knowing what you have to do can be a bad thing for nerves. I used my 284 and shot a 97 i just hammerd them down as quick as they were marked so the wind could not change i got a few elevation shots but it worked out. At the End the results were
