versa pod bipod question

Hey guys I aquired a versa pod bipod recently in a trade. It has the handstop with spigot mount. I really love the thing accept for one part. It doesnt have locking cant? Am I missing something or is there a piece I can buy for this?

I don't think there is such a thing. On mine all I do is take a nylon washer and trim a flat on each side then glue it to the post that slides in. Then drill and tap a 1/4 20 hole for a set screw and tighten it so the bi-pod doesn't wobble.

I dunno, mine has a knurled knob on the front of it that holds it steady if you don't want cant. You can loosen the knob, and it will readily roll around the axis of that spud it affixes to.

Just a thought, but the spud has a short, relatively thin, little rod, maybe 1mm thick, that protrudes from it and engages a slot in the bipod to keep it straight up and down. If that little rod were missing from the spud it could be that you would not be able to control canting.
