Varmint Benchrest Silhouette in central Texas

It is that time again, April 19 will be the first varmint benchrest silhouette match at the Windy Hill Shooting Association range near Wortham, TX. The match last month saw 28 shooters come out to shoot and help revise the format to make it more enjoyable for the shooter. This match will have the actual targets, three banks of 10, at 200, 300, 385 ad 500 meters; 12 shooters on the line for each relay. Match will begin at 9:00 AM. Come shoot this new silhouette venue with us on Sunday. Directions to the range can be found at www.hotsa.org.

Thanks for putting this on guys. It was lots of fun seeing those tiny targets go flying off the rail. Hope to make it again before too long.

The crowded TX match schedule and questionable weather today didn't help attendance, but I'm confident this will catch on. It's too much fun not to!

So speaks the high overall match winner today in very windy conditions! Thanks for attending Travis and congrats again for the win.

I am interested and want to come to one of the matches.

Where is the range at?

How much to shoot?

What are the rules?

Weight and or caliber restrictions ?

Thanks!
