It appears to me that we are getting more of a stream of powder, bullets, brass etc..etc.. I think we are rapidly approaching the end of this miserable component shortage nightmare! At least I am hopeful!

I'll consider the shortage over when I can buy CCI/Remchester/Federal 22LR off the shelf at Walmart... which may never happen again, it seems.

To be honest, I don't know about .22LR ammo per se. I do have a friend who shoots competitively with super accurate custom .22 rifles. He told me he has no problem getting ammo. However, I do not believe it is your "Walmart / Academy" style fodder.

It takes more steps to produce .22LR and demand is up because of increased .22 sales to boot.

More positive reloading components feedback is yesterday I took a trip to my LGS (which I have not been to in about a month) and I saw an abundance of everything, powders , bullets , and primers. The biggest shocking positive I can report is for the first time in about 3 years I saw a great supply of 8lb jugs of PISTOL !! I saw Titegroup, Universal , Trail Boss , the only powder that I still did not see is Unique.

I found one 1# can of Varget hidden among the H414 next to it at the local Cabelas. A search of the shelf did not turn up any more. Still that was the first I had seen of Varget in almost 2 years.
