I’ve been using Varget with the Savage 6BR (pics). Just started to tinker a bit with H4895 - looks like it will work too.

I ordered (500) 103VT on Feb 11, 2019.

They arrived on Jan 31st, 2020, so plan ahead for the hand made ones!

Lookin forward to testing them in the 6BR at mid range. Like to test them in the 6x47 also! Prolly should have ordered more...

Yes, plan ahead for hand made ones. I've never had to wait for the machine made 103 VT-TACs.

This. As long as you plan ahead, and let's be honest, what benchrest shooter doesn't plan ahead? Everyone should have a pretty good idea how much they are going to shoot that year, plan accordingly.

Like was said above you can get the automated bullets anytime you want them. That was the point in offering them

They shoot ok too - off bipod and rear bag.

Could one of you post a photo of this VT 103 bullet here? The bullet depicted is a flat-base (tipped?) spitzer.

I’m all most certain that the automated will perform just as well as the hand pulled. You might have to do more sorting. But I’m willing to say better than a commercially produced product. With less piles.

Tom J would not be putting them out there if they were junk. He is not that kind of person.

you will find they are a viable option, but I would not assume they will handle the same because they are similar but A to Z can be different.

Here is my best target using 103 VT-TAC’s In my BRA at the march 14 600 yard IBS shoot in Grand Junction CO. Winds were 8 to 15 mph all day. They will shoot small even in conditions.
