Valdada Scopes

What does everyone think of the Valdada scope, thinking about buying a 40x benchrest scope. Thanks

If the 40x BR scope is like the 4-28x & 12-52x Valdada Scopes I'm very interested.
- The reports on the 36X BR were very good for the most part. - a few guys have complained but I believe that any mfgr. can have issues.
The glass in the two IOR Valdada scopes that I have are Top-notch & second to none & that's comparing to NightForce & March.

I loved my 36 power but when it started having problems customer service totally sucked no ifs ands or butts. Terrible customer service. After a year of bullshit I got it back and it doesn't seem to have any problems. They also told me that there wasn't anything wrong with it. Just like Nightforce does. But when it came back it was fixed. The glass and the reticle are awesome. My opinion is the glass is very close to a NF comp scope. Definitely better than my br's.

I had this scope for three years, and the parallax adjust would go out of focus if turned up close to infinity. I sent it back to Valdada and took almost a year to get it back. I have to say that the glass is as good or is a little bit better than my NF 7-35. when I got it back it was just like new, but was afraid if I ever had to send it in back in for something I would have to wait another year. I really regret selling that bad boy! It had the best reticle i've ever owned!

NO! I have an older model straight 6x 56 . It needed to have the elevation turrent screwed in and centered and a single screw replaced in the elevation locking cap.
It was sent to Romania and gone for two,(2,)( dos)years. Finally returned fixed, no charge.
Situation may have changed but thats my experience.
Very good glass. Service keeps me from buying.

I have the 36X BR Valdada. The glass is very, very good. I compared it just the other day side-by-side with my NF Comp scope and the Valdada glass was the winner, hands-down. Looking through both at the same time, it wasn't even close. At 22 oz., it is also extremely light. How well it might work in a given discipline largely depends on what the discipline is. For F-Class (F-TR), the fixed 36X and small (42 mm) objective mean not being able to turn down the mag in heavy mirage, allowing slightly less light through the scope (really only noticeable in early AM and twilight conditions), and a limited field of view. However, IMO it certainly does the job and the brilliance of the glass more than makes up for the few minor deficiencies.

The problem as I see it for the newer 40X BR scope for F-TR is that it's too much mag for my eyes in a fixed scope. I'm sure it can work well in BR or other disciplines, but I generally run scopes at 30-32X, to help prevent crossfires. The 36X Valdada is even a little on the high side (mag) for that, so I'd imagine the 40X would make it more of an issue. Presumably the glass is just as good as the 36X and it should gather a little more light with the slightly larger objective (45 mm).

Would anyone like a as new in the Box 36x, I purchased it 3 years ago from a older gentleman off here that had shot one match with it, said he actually one the VFS match with it, but the Magnification was a bit much. I never mounted it everything seems to be fine Great Glass ! But I'm getting out of the game so it needs a new home ! 995.00 Shipped with insurance !

Best dang scope I ever had! Holds Zero forever, repeatable adjustment over and over and over. Excellent glass, illuminated Rets rock! MP8 Reticle makes ranging easy and you can get some of them in FFP. Mine is, I have the 2.5-10X42. Beautiful, Im hearing you need to get the Flea Scope, someone will know which one that is around here. Great reputation in the long range and sniper community.

You still have this

I guess I'm fixing to buy either the valdada 40x 45 unless someone can tell me that it's not better than a sightron or nf.

I have the 12-52X56 and the best glass I've ever looked through and I have 5 of the NF competitions, I wish I had gotten the precision XT. Also let me say this, I shot my first ever 500 yard match and won 2 of the 4 matches and shot 3 of the smallest groups (maybe 4 but not sure).

It's unfortunate in my area gun shops don't carry many high end scopes like Nf or Valdada. I'm not sure if it's a issue with contract of being a dealer or what.
I'll have to catch aa few members at the br match and look Down a few
