I received some brass from a friend in .308 which he had fired about 10x. It had been sitting around for some time and he now wants to load them.Lots of carbon build up over the 10 firings so I put the brass in the ultrasonic cleaner for a total of 40 min. After all that the brass is still not clean on the inside of the necks.
I guess if you let them go to long they will just not clean up. I have never used the ultrasonic cleaner on old brass like that, is this normal to clean up like that. All my brass has been ran through the cleaner from firing one.
