Using scope with external adjustment

Hey guys looking for some advice on how to use my
JW fecker scope.
A few years back I picked up a Winchester
Model 52b with a jw fecker scope with lyman scope mounts. Beautiful wood excellent condition $175
How do I adjust the point of impact? If I move the rear of the scope left what way will this move the point of impact same with elevation move the rear down where will this move the impact?

If you move the rear of the scope left, the front will move right, forcing you to move the gun left to compensate. Left=left.

Moving the rear to the left will make the scope point to the right of where it was pointing. That will make you shoot more to the LEFT of where it was shooting.
