used Bushnell Elite 4200 warranty ?

reading online through Bushnell warranty , it says lifetime , anther says original owner . does anyone know if a second hand 4200 scope can be sent in for warranty repairs ?, I bought a used scope , and put it on a rifle a year later only to find it wont hold poi and when you try to move left 2" you may get 6" down instead . any advice on Bushnell warranty would be appreciated

I've heard different accounts. From sending you a new scope of equal value to flat No. I have a 4000 B&L myself so it's interesting to me. Gary

Or.....I sent in a 3200 recently that I mounted on a new 450 Bushmaster. It shot patterns not groups. Took it off and put on 3x9 Leupold VXR, shoots fine. Bushnell answer, nothing wrong with this scope.Good luck.

I buy nothing Bushnell due to their overwhelming lack of CS. Bought two trail cams from them. Both were not sealed well and the batteries corroded, ruining the entire battery compartment and rendering the cameras useless. Time frame was less than a complete deer hunting season.
My hunting buddy bought the cellular version. It was a much more expensive camera than mine but it didn't make 6 months. Bushnell offered him a $50 off any new product from retail coupon.
Sure, electronics v. optics but poor design, quality and lack of "give a sh##" has no business from me.
It's hard to even imagine that parent company Vista would allow such crappy CS when they offer great service for RCBS, Federal, CCI and Speer.

I have a friend that works for Bushnell. They will take your 4200 ,trash it and send you a replacement something or another.
