use a 6br seating die for 6dasher?

I have done it the other way around and it worked great. May work if the case is supported enough. Sorry, not really not much help. :o

No, the Dasher shoulder is moved forward about .100", so the die would bottom out on shoulder before die touched bottom.

if you use a micrometer forster bullet seating die you can order the dasher sliding sleeve directly from forster. remove the 6 br sleeve and drop the dasher sleeve right in. since the seating stem is 6mm, you can order any 308 boltface cartridge sleeve and they drop right in. the same applies to a .224 seating stem. i use the same forster seater for my .223 and 22 BR, just change the sleeve. cost savings are obvious...a micrometr bullet seater for the cost of the sleeve..

I use a Redding micrometer top 6BR die to load Dasher, works just fine. In theory it should cause some runout issues, but it doesn't. YMMV.
