US F-T/R Captain and Vice Captain Announcements

Ray Gross has been appointed by the US NRA as the new US F-T/R captain through the 2017 World Championship Cycle. Ray brings a ton of experience in both national and international competition. He is well versed in both the shooting and coaching aspect of the job.

Ray has asked James Crofts to serve as US F-T/R Vice Captain. James comes from a military background serving 20 years in the US Navy aboard fast attack submarines.

Between the two they are ready to lead the US F-T/R Team through the 2017 World Championships.

I'm guessing Ray is taking over from Darrel Buell. Darrel did a great job; the 8-man TEAM USA F-TR won the World Championship.

So Ray will have his work cut out for him, but I know he'll be up to the task. Of course, picking James as vice captain is a shrewd move. Good luck to both of them.
