Hello everyone

Please see the attached letter for details about the upcoming US Team tryouts in Phoenix. Mark Walker of Houston Texas has agreed to serve as Vice Captain for the 2017 team. Thank you Mark for willingly signing on and being eager to help your team on our quest for gold in 2017. I look forward to working with you and the rest of the team. If any of you want to be a part of this great team please feel free to contact Mark or myself and make plans now to be in Phoenix this October. Also we are actively seeking sponsorship for the team from both commercial vendors and private individuals. If you feel you can help please contact one of us and we can share with you various opportunities.

Thank you, Rick. It is an both an honor and privilege to serve as the Vice Captain for the upcoming team cycle.

We look forward to Phoenix (2014 FCNC) and meeting those of you who are new or just thinking about joining us for the first time. Also, of course, to more good times with all our existing teammates.

While the Silver medal in 2013 was not what we hoped and worked for, the 2009-2013 team was an experience I'd not trade for anything.

Each of you now have the opportunity to create your own US F-Open Rifle Team memories, and have the opportunity to represent your Country in the sport you love. This is a rare opportunity, don't just sit by on the sidelines and let it pass…

Nationals are getting closer all the time. I hope you have sent your entry in and plan to join us. Also we are looking at doing a tryout in the Eastern part of the US next spring. Any input on which range and what weekend might be good would be very helpful. Send me a PM on here or a email note at rickjensen@tds.net if you might be interested in that.
