Urbanrifleman Pdog Trip

I would be more than happy to SPONSOR a pdog trip, if someone could supply a good spot.

I have rifles, ammo, bullets, barrels, etc etc

I admit I'm not interested in driving 1000 miles to shoot 50 rounds. I would like to find a good spot. Of course, I would be sworn to secrecy as to specific locations, if that is what the scout would want.

I have to say that sounds like a great idea--my first trip PD ing this year was an eye opener--hired a guide in SD--we were on Plenty of PD's so looking back I don't regret spending the loot to do it that way but sure would like a better alternative if one exists

Maybe work with a known quality guide to put the trip together?? Get a group rate maybe?
have PD shooting school at night during beers--to help the new guys like me have more success
We had plenty of dogs but no instructions--looking back It would have been nice for them to say OK pick one distance--zero in shoot until you clean them out THEN move to another distance--zero in keep going etc I was like a dog in the meat shop just banging away like crazy on day one--Day two was better The truth was we were faced with a LOT of long shots--with a 223 inside 350 is pretty easy and past that it was pretty difficult--least it was for me--add in tired eyes and hot barrel and you get the picture
They post pix of kills at crazy long ranges and act like that is the norm--I killed some at 500 but it was a challenge
