The same person got the parts for both rifles at a yard sale. They have been updated since purchased. I added a 6mm Dasher barrel to the Mutt (aka Stiller Cobra) and Ricky added a Dasher barrel to the 40X and is in the process of adding a 3 inch BR stock to go with the wooden stock. His yard sale rifle is classier than the Mutt, but we will see which is more accurate. I don't have a picture of the 40X yet. In an earlier post I gave credit to several who have contributed to this test, but I remembered that Tom E. Jacobs gave me 500 of his 103 grain V-Tac bullets. I will be using some of these in the test. Thanks Tom
Like many of you, I don't know how Ricky finds these gems at yard sales. Maybe I should peruse more of these roadside "garage sales".
