Busy season as usual here is some stags from the season anyone interested in hunting here in Ireland for sika stags red deer hybrid sika ibex wild goats drop me a pm cheers all of these are wild animals no fenced hunts here cheers Will
Every deer and goat that was stalked on foot caliber used straight .284 I can take 2 hunters at a time or one to one if need be good hunting and accommodation provided and the warmest of welcomes

Looks like a good time. I ran into a guy at the Thompson shoot who went to Ireland to hunt Sika deer and he said it was great hunting.

Thank you for the pictures and invite. A few years back I was in Ireland. Didn't see any wild game-must have been in wrong places, but as beautiful as the countryside was I enjoyed the PEOPLE MOOR. Good luck with all your hunts.

A couple questions if I may sir. You mention a "straight .284", can you clarify/expand on that? Also what part of the country are you hunting in? I remember huge hares on the fields at the Shannon airport, nothing with antlers though!

Hi Paul .284 winchester is the main caliber I use along with .308 and 30-06
hunting area would be wicklow ,mayo and Donegal

"Centre-fire rifles of not less than ·22 calibre with a muzzle energy of not less than 1,700 foot pounds."
Lots of options open there, my archaic 7x57 qualifies handily, but my .243 just barely.

Great hunting. What distance you are usually shooting at? Here in continental Europe it’s about 200-300m mostly with regard to red deer. I was stalking them in October this year and in most cases they saw me or heard me at 500m away. I am not very good at stalking.

Hi we shoot between 150 and 300 yards out this morning a guest shot a stag at 76 meters
