Unis Genix Primers

I have been using them in my Palma rifles for a couple of months. Ballistically identical to the Tula SR primers I ran for some time. Single digit SDs and good LR waterline.

I bought some Large Rifle about a year ago for a trial. The results were not good. A lot of the primers were way oversized and would not seat in the primer pockets. They sat very proud. I even tried seating them with the Rock Chucker press but didn't help much. They just mushroomed at the top. I tried seating them in cases that had oversized pockets that you could seat Tula and CCI primers with your fingers, but they were too large for that.
I hope they have gotten their QC under control and are now selling a usable product. It may be a while before I give them another trial.
I searched the web and I found others that had the same problem as me.

was looking to buy unis primers a year ago, read a lot of reviews ,and research, most was not good,,like KMART said oversize, and no bang on some,,am not going to sell something in
my shop without checking into it first,,maybe quality control has improved,

I am able to seat the SR primers in Lapua .223 and .308 Palma brass. Definitely requires more force to do it in the .223 but they do seat using the newer Lee bench seater.
In 400 rounds or so no failures to ignite. Will shoot the season and see how it goes!

I've gone from using the CCI to the Unis in my 50 BMG match ammo. I'm actually getting better ES & SD results. I don't know about the smaller calibers, but in the 50's primers, their compound is identical to what RWS utilizes.

I've been using the SR primer's for a couple years in several guns, and haven't had any problems at all with them in most factory brass. I did need to chamfer the edges of the primer pockets in my Lake City & Federal surplus brass that had crimped primers originally.

I have used them for two seasons now in my BRs with no failures to ignite, and results on paper/chronograph are about identical to F205Ms. They do fit tighter than 205Ms, however, but if you have brass with slightly loose primer pockets this can be a good thing. I use both; looking for an edge in different shooting situations. I'll let you know if I find anything.
