My guess also on bullet shape. All the ogives measure the same from box to box so I can assume they are from the same lot. I washed them and will moly em and see how they shootMy guess is they are the standard 105 boat-tail bullets versus the newer VLD or hybrid.
I don't have any good info on the age based on the packaging. Perhaps others can add some info there.
The folded paper towels were in tact lol . Thanks!Those appear to be the original hand pulled ones made in Phoenix. They used to have a folded paper towel in top to fill box and protect bullets. I’m guessing 20 years old.

I'm guessing that size box, which were what the 62/65/68 grain bullets were shipped in, is the only ones Walt had at the time, & only 80 105's would fit in them.
I'm also guessing they're from at least the 90's if not older.
