Unhappy thoughts on future European relaoding supplies availability.

In a separate post @Laurie has commented on the re-arming of Germany and how it might impact availability of European-made reloading supplies. To summarize, the Jerries are about out of ammo (by their design) and all of a sudden feel like they might need more . Can't think why. That will probably suck up a lot of Rhinemetall production from Switzerland -- think RE26, 33, etc.
Mad Vlad has also shaken a stick at Finland (Vihtavuori), although apparently he hasn't learnt that lesson yet since the Finns gave Russia a big black eye the last time they tried any hanky-panky. Also allegedly, the Russkies are eyeing Gottland (again) which belongs to Sweden (Alliant). So, it's reasonable to assume all those named will be tending to increase their ammo inventories. Meaning, less powder for you and me.
Accordingly, when I saw an 8-pounder of N568 (I actually like N570, but think of N568 as the short cut variant) I snapped one up. I think I got the last one. Plenty of 1-pounders on the shelf at Brunos).
I will certainly be snapping up any of the slower burning powders I see, since I get through then quicker due to the bigger charges. I *was* hoping we had turned the corner on reloading supplies, but now, frankly, I'm pretty damn sure we haven't.

Biden and his admin and so many anti gun, anti U.S. Constitution and Bill of Rights will never learn, nor take note of how these countries that went against the citizen's owning, possessing firearms, are not wishing to high heaven they had some to defend their country, way better.
It will be the common citizen, like those of us that went through WWII, around the world, and military, with a far different frame of mind, that now days, that will save each and every country from the likes of Putin.
As for our present supplies, stock up on what you can, when you can, as it is going to become much worse all around, this old world, with the present situations occuring.

Antigun politicians don't care about mass shootings or the "children. They want to be able to have power like Putin, to do anything they want any time they want. Notice all the mask mandates that don't seem to matter when they have a get-together or fund raiser. The vaccine may be mathematically better than with out, but if it's so great why has the president's press secretary had Covid twice?

Vaccines, masks, Ukraine sovereignty, oil prices, trillions in unreported dollars given to banks around the world. None of it for the benefit of the American citizens, only for pushing America to the new world order. A place where your individual written rights have been replaced by unelected tech experts who will decide what you eat, where and when you can travel and assemble(controlled by digital currency). ALL based on their marxist agenda of environmental and social justice issues.

In the Mid 80's, we went through a spell where we could not get Sako brass for our PPC"s....Life was tough for a while.

Probably a good time to Plan ahead.

Those that only buy what they need as they need it will be screwed for sure.

With regard to the OP's initial observation, the critical questions are how many of the reloading supplies people might buy from European sources that could be impacted by the war in Ukraine and moving forward are actually used in the production of ammunition for the various European militaries?; and even if the reloading supplies that people wish to purchase are not typically used in military applications, how might European companies gearing up to produce military ammunition affect the production of other components? I don't know the answers to either of these questions and it is likely that few other reloaders here do, either. As always, the safest thing to do is to make sure you're as well stocked-up on whatever reloading components you commonly use as possible. Hope for the best, but plan for the worst.

From what was initially reported in Ukraine, they HAD a rather restrictive policy regarding citizens owning and possessing firearms. What a miracle, that a month ago, the Ukraine politicians and corrupt bureaucrats were about to get their throats cut by the russians. They wanted the citizens to arm themselves to save their miserable political A##es and it happened in just a few days.

Question is, if the russians get their heads handed to them on a platter, will things go back to gun confiscation? Always is amazing to see how a politician will turn on a dime to save their own throats. Nato reporting a huge amount of russian soldier deaths, so it will be interesting to see whether a stalemate occurs. Even if it does, things will continue to remain unstable due to china vs. Taiwan. The great reset has begun for establishing the new world order and it was no coincidence that biden signed that executive order regarding crypto currency. It's all tied together on so many levels, and we all know that you can never let a good crisis go to waste....................What was once just conspiracy crazy talk, has now become reality.

Not a big stretch to know that the richest man in the world DOESN'T want his money digitized by others. Putin is wanting to reestablish buffer states to his west and south, Ukraine being only a small part of that. A extended "aggression" that spills into Poland, Romania, others, will not only effect ammo, components, but wheat, petroleum, chip production. And if Ukraine survived, independent of any Russian control. All arms processed by private citizens will be confiscated, Ukraine was/is all in on the new world order. Ukraine is a "democracy" that fits the democrats definition of government, plus democrats have a lot of time involved in hiding political election resources in country.

Germany: guns are bad. Reduces military budget and in acts anti gun policies.
Sig Sauer: shuts down last gun factory in Germany.
Russia: invades Ukraine

You are correct Coyote. One of the spokesfolks for Ukraine, Kira Rudik (Ukraine parliment member stated the following:

" But right now it’s a critical time because we know that we not only fight for Ukraine, [but] we fight for this New World Order for the democratic countries. We [know] that we are the shield for the Euro. We [know] that we are protecting not only Ukraine, [but] we are protecting like all the other countries that would be next if we failed. That’s why we just cannot fail.”

There's going to be more of a Russian primer shortage. One of
their supply boats was blown up in a captured Ukrainian harbor.

Fellas....Our Canadian brothers and sisters is still sending good
quantities of stick powders to the states. You best hope this flow
stays stable. For what it's worth.....I've been testing the new lots
of AA-4064 in my shorter cats. I ran out of Lovex Precision Rifle,
that was my new found best friend. AA-4064 is right there with it.
