Unfilled Protektor bag needing fill....Recommendations?

I have searched the site on the various types of fill for a front Protektor bag. I have always purchased my bags filled from Protektor and ordering an unfilled bag was an oversight by me. With that said, I had a couple questions:

1) What does Protektor fill their bags with?
2) Where can I find Chromite sand in today's market?

I think you said front bag. You won’t need much to fill it.
I personally don’t use heavy sand in the front bag. It seems to pack down hard.
I used play sand that I sifted through a screen to remove the larger granules. Don’t over pack it.

Always use regular sand in sandbags, especially the front

Last thing I want is a hard packed front bag. Fortunately mine have come from Protektors have all been prefilled.
