That's a nice shot And you know you made it . 3 year ago I took a shot at limb a doe eating acorns off the tree At 35 yards . Missing the limb . Wish I had that picture .Never filled my doe tags this year, seems like I'm getting old enough to be content with shooting photo's instead.. Will for sure be missing out on a lot of tasty red meat because of it thoughView attachment 995728 ...
Going to have to hook my wife's niece's hubby up with you. He is in extreme North AR. close to Bull Shoals. He did not get a deer this past season. He has a super nice machine shop and retired with time to use it. Maybe he can exchange some machine work for guide service?Deer population is almost out of control in my area. North Arkansas. Statewide bag limit is 6 and only 2 can be bucks. In some regions (last year) a doe tag had to be filled before you were allowed to shoot a buck. Sounds crazy but that's how thick they are here. Driving a vehicle at night is like playing a "Dodge the Deer" video game. Nearly slammed into a group of 5 does coming home from work today. When I was growing up in the 1970's there were nearly zero deer here. We all hunted but almost nobody actually bagged one. Now you can't swing a dead cat without hitting a white tail deer.

He's closest to a little town called Protem and I think that is actually in MO. He doesn't go beyond his property which is a small tract of land with beautiful house along Bull shoals lake.Didn't bag one in Bull Shoals?! That's surprising to say the least. The deer are so thick there that deer hunting is allowed withing the city limits (archery only, for safety sake).

Also a little store there that stocks groceries and beer, plus makes great sandwiches. The Post Office is in the same building. I love small town America.Been to Protem. A cool cave there called "The Ozark Underground Laboratory".
