I'll bet they roll those barrels out like hot cakes. There's a place near where I live that turns out barrels and barrel extensions for sale under other brand names - DC Machine. I think they also make AR receivers, and Palmetto State's Dagger pistol. They are probably owned by the group that owns PSA.

With the pitting and rolling of the the rifling edges, I'd say a few more mag dumps should finish it off.

Yes, looks like their quality management is nearly negligible. I am going to return it.

It's a stainless steel barrel, so I think it's not chrome lined.

Yea and they need to reimburse you for your time. I bet this was standard before borescopes. I bought a scope for a Billy Stevens built 223. Put it all together and fought with it for a year, could not get it the put a bullet in the same place more than twice. Finally a friend said it is the scope, I told him it was brand new. After a couple of months I tried his scope checker with a Night Force on one side and the new one on the other. The service rep argued with me, so I sent her pictures of the two scopes on the rifle at the same time and a target. New scope on the way.

The steel looks to be seriously faulty. Even a dull reamer could not do that kind of damage. Looks more like voids in the barrel blank. Chinese steel... Very special blend... Cause we love you long time...

I agree, crappy steel, looks like some of the castings I get from China. The voids and inclusions can be impressive, some of them look like old sand castings, with the sand stiil there.
