Ultrasonic machine for brass

I use one intended for cleaning medical instruments, does a bang up job and quickly...they can be somewhat expensive tho...

I got my Hornady from Cabela's and it works just fine. It's the 2-liter model and I do all of my brass cleaning in containers, not in the liquid itself-easier to clean up. I use Hornady's cleaning stuff and it's adequate. Only thing I don't like about US cleaning is the time it takes to dry the brass. So, I mostly use a vibratory tumbler with walnut/rouge. HTH

Hi Sir!

I have the kendal 6 liter ultrasonic cleaner. I went with the slightly bigger, because it has two instructors, it is supposed to clean a little more evenly. It can handle more brass. Last but not least it has a valve to empty the water into.

I have Branson cleaners. Top of the line. I bought one for my uncle not long ago for around $75 from Fleabay. Works great and its big enough to clean a carburetor. Just pay attention and as always buyer beware.

I have a hornady 2gt. That has be used once and I have a bottle of cleaner with 1oz. Missing out of it that I would make a deal with you .

What solution do you guys use in those ultrasonic cleaners?
Many have their own brews, a buddy uses White Vinegar and hot water for nice clean brass.
Hot water gets the drying process underway when you pull them out.

Any downsides to using the Ultrasonic cleaner solutions? How would you dispose of the solution when it is no longer doing the job? We use well water in the area we live in so it would most likely be treated as any hazardous product. Something else to think about. I like the vinegar and water suggestion. Be nice if it worked as well as the regular cleaner.

Thanks for any info.
