Ultrasonic cleaning article

I just cleaned my cases based off the article posted on this site, same products and cleaner. I just took them out, and they look pretty much the same..? I used small beakers that fit in the cleaner with the lid on. 50% vinegar, 50% water, and the drop of dish soap. Then the Birchwood cleaner, diluted as the bottle says, then water, and the distilled water, all for the said time. Did I miss something? Should I not use the beakers?

you can use the beakers. The benifit of using them from my experience is when the cases are standing vertically they seem to cleaner inside. have to make sure that the cases in the beaker are submerged in the solution 100% and that the tub is full of liquid up over the cases as well. Don't just sit a beaker inside an empty ultrasonic washer.

Gotcha, I did a second round minus beakers and they cleaned up well. Some better than others. But I also have 12 fires on them. I'll try again tomorrow and see if I can get the rest off.

I find that using warm cleaning solution makes a big difference. I always warm up my cleaning solution in the microwave before getting started. Doesn't need to be really hot, somewhere in the 110 to 130F region. Good luck, Chip.
