Ultradyne chassis? Received and updated

Anybody use the ultradyne chassis for a budget chassis? They look pretty nice and well made from the videos that the company posts as well as the ultimate reloader.

Just looking for a budget chassis and the weight on this is pretty light. Gonna put it in a plinking and hunting rifle.

Thanks fellas.

I thought so myself. They have been around for a minute. I think I'll try one. If I don't like it, I can sell it, and at the worst I'm out $379
My thoughts exactly, I asked for an in-stock notification for a 700 LA chassis as I figure at the price it is worth a gamble.

Nice! I'm going to grab in rem 700 SA, and in a few weeks I'll post my thoughts if anyone cares. I can't find any information on any forums about them.l, so maybe it will help someone in the future.

These reminds me of the MDT HS-3 stocks they stopped making
a few years back. I still use one and like it for the fact I had all
kinds of AR buffer tubes and stocks, which brings up a point. If
you get this stock, you now have to add in the price of a buffer
tube and stock......I have since moved away from this style for my
builds, preferring the MDT Oryx with its one piece design.. In my
opinion the MDT Oryx is the better bang for the buck.....

Well, I got the chassis. The finish and look of it was awesome...and that's where it ended. So here's what happened.

I put the barreled action in, and you'd need to take a lot of metal away for the trigger hanger to be able to fit. Tried with my Kauger, and same issue.

I thought well this sucks. So I took the trigger hanger out just to screw it in and see how it felt. The holes don't line up to the action screw hole. Probably off by a 1/16 of an inch. On the front action screw hole.

I just placed the barreled action in it, and kept lying to myself. "Well I'll return this one and they'll send me a new one with the corrected spacing and then I can modify it for the trigger hanger." The end of forend has a lot of play. Like you can get the forend to touch the barrel and move it side to side.

If you wanted to use if for a hunting rig and didn't use an action with a trigger hanger then you'll be fine I think. I guess it's true. You get what you pay for.

Sent an email to them asking for a return label and refund. I'll report back what they say. Just going to grab an MDT and be done with it. What a monumental waste of time.

Sorry to hear that. I was looking forward to a good report on the Ultradyne Chassis.
Me too. Honestly I would have modified it, and got a different one with the correct screw holes, but it just has too much flex in it. Really sucks, because for the price and customer service I got when I called to ask questions. They were awesome.
