Ultra sonic cleaner and moly bullets?

I picked up some 115 Tubbs to try but they are moly coated. My rifle shoots 105 Lapua's very well and I don't want to mess this up so I plan on taking the moly off these 115's before I try them out.

Over night, I soaked 10 bullets in a water/soap/windex,ammonia in windex) mix and most of the moly was off in the morning. What was not, can off easy with Never-Dull.

Has anyone tried removing moly from bullets with a ultra sonic cleaner? I can not see it causing any issues but.... after all, the lead should be seated in the jacket so that should not come loose, etc.

Interested in anyone that has tried this and what the end result was, on the bullet and target, good, bad or what... being in Canada, trading them for naked is out of the question! Import/export permits etc... hard enough just to get these...

So I tore up some pieces of Never-Dull,the full can actually, it is only $5 or so Cdn) and put this in a blue Crown Royal bag,the bullets should be happy, that is really really good Cdn Whiskey) along with 500 moly coated 115g Tubb bullets, that I bought from another guy up here in Canada that just had to have some of these pills and was willing to jump thru the import/export permit hoops and costs for them) and all of this into a plastic bag.

Then I drove this "bag 'o bullets" around in the truck of car over the frozen bumps and ruts on the street for 10 minutes and after 1 day of just sitting on the bench after the little drive, the moly is about 90% gone.

A simple rubbing of a clean cloth and a bath in soap water and a rinse in the Ultrasonic and the bullets are as good as new.

Hope all the driving and Crown Royal did not permanently damage their ability to fly straight ha!
