Ultimate Palma rifle

Curt,
Thats a tough question, but I'll give it a go. I would start with a BAT three lug Palma action multi flat with the integral recoil lug. I like the overall look of it and it's a proven design that is virtually flawless. Bolt lift is reletively easy from the prone position. I would choose a CG Millennium or a Grunig trigger, these triggers are state of the art and the quality is second to none. Next I would have Dan Warner install a Bartlien med palma 30inch barrel in 1x13 for the 155gr. Bergers or a 1x10 for the 175gr Bergers. It would all depend if you were shooting Intl. or American Palma. The rear sight would be a Warner with a Centra variable iris and the front would be a 30mm Right sight with a variable iris and a sunshade. The stock would be a H&H Robertson or a Steve McGee prone stock in triple AAA Turkish walnut with an adjustable four way butt plate and adj. cheek piece. The gun Stocker would have to be Alex Sitman of Master Class to complete the rifle. There's none better.
Even with a rifle like this, it won't help until you get the proper coaching and range time at 1000yds.
Hope this helps,
Tony

How about a Barnard P with a 32" 1/12 Bartlein Heavy Palma contour, '95 Bisley Chamber, in a brown laminate MT/Mastin style Palma Offset (RH) stock with adjustable cheek/butt and the Barnard trigger?
