UBR practice day

that little dot is driving me nutz,,the rifle is good,,the scope is good,,the load is good,,the nut behind the trigger needs tightened up some,,

I made some practice UBR targets from a couple sighters that didnt have any holes the last couple matches to shoot here at home,,hopefully this will help me get better faster than just shooting a match once a month,,

shot a target at 1PM,2PM,4PM and 5PM,,dropped 7 points with a couple that might have made it with a scoring plug but a 257 is best I have done in a match or practice so far,,to make my goal of shooting a 500 this year I really need to shoot a 260 at 100 to have a chance and that is harder than it sounds,,wind wasnt real bad but mirage and clouds breaking up letting sun go in and out was my main problem today,,

I'm not a score shooter. I've wondered how you know the load is tuned that day
I've been reading your other posts I know you've been testing this load.
I shoot group and know some days and times of day 28.3 works well
Other times it just doesn't to much vertical and 28.8 may work a lot better
Looking at the targets there seems to be room there for tuning. It seems the last target of the day the load came to you

,there wasnt much wind on the 1st 3 targets and what there was was in my face and the mirage was really bad,,on the last target a light breeze picked up ,just enough to keep the mirage blown down,,I havent got to the point where I can say for sure if it was the load or where I had the crosshairs pointed ,,
