The UBR National Championship is to be held at Boyle County Fish and Game Club in Junction City Ky. on Friday and Saturday, September 13 and 14. Start times are 9am on Friday and 8 am on Saturday.

UBR offers factory, modified, custom and unlimited classes, so there is a class for everyone. It is caliber neutral score so dust off the old PPC and bring it on out...or, if you just want to give UBR a try and have a good shooting factory or modified rifle, bring it and come shoot with us. We have a class for virtually anyone and of any skill level.

I would expect between 80-100 guns to contest this match, this year. If you've never shot a national championship match, this is the one to make it to. Lots of good folks in a laid back atmosphere, where everyone hopes to shoot well but mainly, have a good time. I haven't missed one of these yet and I don't plan on ever missing this match!

Billy Henson is the match director and asked me to post his contact info here. Please call him to pre-register. I'm sure there will be a few people to show up on match day and they are welcome as well, but it'd be a big help to the people putting on the match for you all to go ahead and get pre registered. Also, I'd start checking on hotel rooms asap. I just booked a room at the Hampton Inn in Danville. It's only about 5 miles from the range and has a nice restaurant within walking distance. I was there last weekend and can attest that they have a very good prime rib!

Billy's contact number is 859-583-8600

I spoke to Billy Henson (match director) last night. There are currently 100 rifles registered for the UBR Nationals. Five relays are full and those wanting to shoot in multiple classes will create probably as many as seven or maybe even eight relays. Early registration will be a huge help. If you are coming, pop up sun canopies and folding tables will be a plus. There will be no way to get that many folks in the rifle shed.

I'll be pretty busy shooting 3 rifles but you're right..there should be plenty of time to visit. I plan to have a vendor table and canopy...Come visit.
Do you know what relay(s) you're on? I think I'm on relays 1-3 on bench 6 for the 100.
