Someone with more interest and motivation than me can count the bodies present at Boyle County yesterday, but I only bothered to count rifles. I think it came to 19, but with new math and progressive thinking it's possible that has changed as well. Anyway, it was a very pleasant day with light winds ( my Kestrel said 4.8 mph when the gusting was strongest) and temps in the low to mid 80's. It was a well run match as always with Brud and Billy calling the matches. Boyle county may be my very favorite place to shoot as it is always organized, conditions are usually shootable and I don't have to do anything except shoot. Chester Bradford had the high score for the day with 510. He came preloaded and didn't do well in the first match, but I'm guessing the rising temp caught up with the tune and he hammered from then on, particularly at 200. I'm told there will be a match at Buck Creek next Saturday and it's always a fun place to go. Hope to see some of you there.
