Two separate groups

Why? Shooting at 300 yards. 3 shots nice and tight (1 inch) and then 3 more about an inch away that are also nice and tight. What the heck. It happens alot. Me, the gun, the powder/primer/bullet. 24.7 grains of Varget, 80 grain Berger, CCI 450. ??????????

Seems as if the rifle shoots three shots really tight and then another three shots really tight but at a different point of impact there would be something moving outside or beyond the load. I would check your bench, rest & bag, bench manners carefully (holding the rifle the same each shot), check the torque on the action screws, base, & rings and possibly even the scope to try and remedy the issue.

If I'm attempting to evaluate group size/point of aim, I shoot groups of 10.
You see the Good, the Bad, and the Ugly. If it's a heat issue, that will show up because the group will continue to 'wander' in the same general direction. If it's me, it's generally a 'flier' here and there with no consistency.
Others will disagree, and not everything works for everyone.

Makes me wonder if he shot all 6 at th e same time how it would look

My guess is probably just part of the overall group dispersion on a larger sample of shots with the load. Groups can't ever get smaller the more shots you take. 5 shot groups will always be bigger than 3, 10 will always be bigger than 5, 20 will be bigger than 10. Than you have the weather variables, parallax, bench manners, etc.

Would two 3 shot groups change the outcome accuracy/POI of one 6 shot group? I don't think so. And if I'm wrong, someone please explain the logic or reasoning behind it.

Is 24.7 grains of Varget a typo ? What caliber are you shooting ?

Lyman had a system for measuring the true performance of your system: i.e., gun / ammo / shooter. I've used it several times and it's revealing if not sobering. It measures these elements over time with changes environmental conditions and shooter bio rhythm.

It consists of placing a second identical target behind the target you are using that day at the range. Shoot a string as you would normally use your rifle in whatever discipline you engage in. Retrieve both targets. Keep the second target and place it behind a new target the next shooting session. Repeat this for 5 or so shooting sessions over a range of days.

I've done this for 5 - 10 shot strings targets giving me the dispersion of 50 rounds fire over a period of time of changing environmental conditions and shooter's bio rhythm cycles. Of course, you can accomplish the same effect by plotting each range session's results but there is just something more meaningful in seeing all those shots on one target.

This will give you a true measure of your system's dispersion relative to POI. Group size means nothing unless it is within the needed POI. This reveals the true capabilities of your system to place shot within the desired POI which is the goal of most hunters and competitors.
