Recently had two Dashers chambered by MCR Rifles, jelrod1 here on the board.

The back rifle started life as a single shot 6BR, my first 6BR. After seeing a few others get Dashers to mag feed, had AJ Goddard of Bighorn cut out a magwell. With some trial/error able to get the 6BR to feed. Put 1800rds on it since. There's 5 of us shooting 6BR repeaters in local steel matches here in Colorado and Raton. One of the guys made us T-shirts, "Team 6BR/Getting it Done With a Stubby One". Have to admit we enjoy kicking butt with our 6BR's over other calibers going faster, burning more powder... What caliber is that? How much powder? How fast you going? Fun stuff!
6x47 has been my caliber of choice, shot out 4 barrels. Chambering the 6BR, getting it to feed changed my direction. While the 6x47 held its own, no comparison to the 6BR, accuracy, easy to tune and consistent over the rounds fired on the barrel... 6BR lacks the horsepower to reach the distances I'm shooting in some matches 1200yds+... Seeing how well a few Dashers around me shoot, same performance of the 6BR, decided to go with a Dasher. Had the 6BR heavy palma cut down from 28" to 24", re-chambered it to a Dasher. Idea is to use it as FF barrel, training rifle, shoot local steel matches.... When that barrel dies chamber another 6BR. FF'd 180 of the 400 pieces I plan on using the false shoulder method, going well. Started to work up load for it with the FF brass. 32.3/H4895/105 Hybrids jumped .010/CCI450's is looking very good! 3 shots/100yds/prone/bi-pod/rear squeeze bag. 32.6 shot just as well, but with a slight stiff bolt lift. The 2987fps reading will need to be confirmed as well as see how it holds up at distance.

Other rifle also on a Bighorn action (approaching 14K rds on the action), Hawk Hill 26" medium palma. Will nail down on a load on it soon. I know this is wishful thinking, hoping I can shoot the same load through both barrels.
